the reason i am writing u this letter is because WE want to know how to get involved with the lawsuit against americaquest, we too were mislead, never told about any prepay penilties before we signed and found out only after a job transfer to another state. You see we need to sell our home in colorado but are having troubles because of the prepay!!! and now I have gotten a statement that they are again going to raise my payment. we have a fixed 6.9% and are paying 1542.00 now they want to raise it to 1610.00 I am now in fear of losing my house because we can not pay that payment and the one here HELP US PLEASE if u can

Deb, I moved your posting to a new thread. To see if you can be part of a class action, you need to contact the attorneys.
However, the question is what your claims actually are. "never told about any prepay penalties before we signed and found out only after a job transfer to another state." Did you READ what you signed? Did you sign for the prepayment penalty? "we have a fixed 6.9% and are paying 1542.00 now they want to raise it to 1610.00" Does that include escrow payments for property tax and insurance? If so, did those bill increase or does your escrow account have a deficiency? |
