If you are about to purchase a Trans Union credit report with "truecredit" in the URL - CLOSE your browser window!

Either order your FREE annual credit report at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and if you don't qualify, order your *real* Trans Union report, currently for sale at http://annualcreditreport.transunion.com/t...r.jsp?loc=10003

Do NOT order the fraudulent TU credit score!

It is NOT the score that lenders get and it is nothing but snake oil. If you need to see your credit score (if you're looking for a major purchase), order the report with the score at http://www.myfico.com/

From the sample report for the ** Trans Union ** report at http://www.transunion.com/sample_credit_re...mple_report.htm

The highlighted data is MISSING from the TrueCredit report

I asked a client to order his Trans Union report and he promptly went to the TU site and ordered this entirely worthless TrueCredit report:

Trans Union practices CRIMINAL FRAUD.

Apparently, TU now utilizes the tri-merged format for ALL TrueCredit reports.

Trans Union removes this EXTREMELY important data from the TrueCredit reports because it is very profitable to withhold critical data:

When consumers don't know what's reported, they won't dispute!

a) Trans Union doesn't have to pay their employees to handle disputes

b) The more incorrect data is on the reports, the more VALUABLE the reports are to creditors.

All CRAs strive to have the most derogatory data and the lowest *real* credit scores because creditors can charge higher rates and fees for lower scores and therefore buy from the CRA with the most "profitable" reports.

c) The lower the scores and the more derogatory data is on the reports, the more PROMO inquiries will be sold to creditors who are (mostly illegally) target marketing low scorers and consumers with collections and bankruptcies.

My comments submitted to the FTC at their crappy form at https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$solcq.actionview -- the form fill filled in MY info for the company you're complaining about.

** Only ** people working for a government agency could be so incredibly demented and not even be able to put together a functional form.

Here's my complaint:

"If there is a hell, it's for the criminals at the FTC who protect the credit bureaus' criminal fraud, the sale of incomplete credit reports and snake oil scores.

http://fight-back.us/forum/index.php?showtopic=894"

Why am I so angry?

It's not like the FTC doesn't know what's going on. From my 8/16/04 comments to the FTC:

"Important note: While it is interesting to compare the scores by area, these are the fraudulent snake oil Experian PLUS scores no lender uses.

In my case, the PLUS score lives up to its name. On 8/2/04, my Experian PLUS score was 58 points higher than the “real” FICO score.

Few consumers understand that the only purpose of the Experian PLUS scores is to maximize the Experian profits.

Consumers attempting to increase their scores by reading the Experian PLUS score explanations will most likely LOWER their FICO scores.

Experian’s clients (the creditors) get to charge higher rates and fees for lower “real” scores."

The FTC did NOTHING because they are corrupt deplorable lowlives - nothing but a bunch of criminals.

From my 9/17/04 submission on credit reporting to the FRB

13) All consumer tri-merged reports are incomplete

The CRAs sell tri-merged reports directly to consumers and many resellers also provide these combined reports.

I have never seen a consumer tri-merged report containing at least most data.

------------------------------------------------------------------

From my 1/5/05 submission to the FTC

Excerpt:

How much should CRAs be allowed to charge for credit scores?

1. The Fair Isaac scores should be provided FREE of charge with all credit reports.

2. The distribution and sale of SNAKE OIL SCORES must be prohibited.

Experian and Trans Union are currently selling scores NO lender uses.

The Trans Union and Experian proprietary “consumer” scores frequently differ by 50 or more points from the FICO scores and 100+ point differences are not at all unusual.

The Experian “PLUS” scores are often much higher than the FICO scores. Experian designed these scores with the INTENT TO DECEIVE consumers into believing that they qualify for the best rates. By the time they apply for credit, it is usually too late to dispute and the consumers end up paying higher rates and fees than they deserve. The CRA recommendations to increase the FAKE Trans Union and Experian scores often result in LOWER FICO scores.

Please put an immediate stop to this FRAUD!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't help but wonder why I wasted so much time submitting these comments.

I guess I wasted MY time so you don't have to.

And my comments are the absolute proof that only massive amounts of bribes or violence will change anything in America.

Since I'm poor and a pacifist, I'll be leaving the country -- it's all yours.

I suggest that if you have a problem with credit reporting, don't waste your time like I did. Either live your life ignoring all the fraud and corruption - take some happy pills and watch TV - or try something different.

I'm not advocating violence, but anyone who can cost the CRAs and creditors money definitely has my vote. Whether you should sue, max out all your credit cards before you stop paying or waste their advertising budget is your call and obviously depends on your financial situation and your outlook on life.

HINT: Trans Union runs a TON of Google ads for TrueCredit.

I wonder if Google would pull their ads if notified that Trans Union and Experian are defrauding consumers?

I forgot to point out that TU also reports the "estimated deletion date" for derogatory accounts on the "real" reports.

And after giving this some thought and NOT having received a response from TU, I suggest that all consumers who purchased TrueCredit reports submit a DISPUTE with their credit card bank. As long as you're within 60 days from the statement date, you should get a full refund due to FRAUD.

Get TU where it hurts: get your money back!

Another client ordered the TrueCredit TU report and I found a lot of additional data in the PRINT format.

However, the estimated deletion date is still missing.

I just reviewed a report with LOTS of discharged accounts and just about every one of them was re-aged.

Order only the REAL report!

And I forgot to update on the FTC:

If I have time I might post some excerpts from my talks with those idiots or maybe I can transcribe some highlights. I could not get to anyone with enough brains to read this thread. I faxed it.

Then they actually sent my an entire package with lies, lies and more lies about credit.

Nobody can be as stupid as the people at the FTC act.

There's no hope for America.
