This was one of the faster mediations. Bridge Capital essentially only accommodated the negotiations because I named them in my suit. They claimed that their branch The Mortgage Standard was responsible for the faxes.

"11/2/05 settled in mediation: "Plaintiff agrees to dismiss all claims against Bridge Capital in exchange for settlement with Mortgage Standard dated 11/1/05 for $2,000"

Unlike in the proposed Bridge settlement, I'm NOT dismissing claims for OTHER faxes, but only the 8/11/05 junk fax specified in my complaint.

It is unusual for a defendant to settle for another party, but it made sense since The Mortgage Standard had already signed the $2,000 11/1/05 agreement.

If I should NOT get paid, I can apply for a judgment.
